Artist's Eye is a tool that lets you draw or paint traditionally (pen or pencil on paper or canvas) while using your phone or tablet's camera as a guide.

Select a reference image (like a photo). As you draw, your work is displayed on your device's screen, overlaid with a semi-transparent version of your reference image. This helps you trace outlines, similar to the centuries-old camera lucida technique (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For optimal use, a phone stand is recommended to keep your device steady and free up both hands.
