Chess Scanner

This chess score sheet scanner digitizes your games effortlessly. Simply scan your score sheets to extract the game's moves. A clear overview displays the score sheet alongside the generated moves. Incorrectly recognized moves are easily corrected using move suggestions.

You can then categorize games by tournament, analyze them on Lichess or Chess.com (premium feature), or export them as PGN files.

Scanning:

Use the built-in scanner or upload images from your gallery. Specify score sheets for both White and Black players (ideal for tournament directors), with support for up to two sheets per player. The game is generated using data from both sheets.

Game Generation:

Generate the game immediately after scanning or manually overlay the move grid.

Notation Support:

The app supports various chess notations:

• English: N/B/R/Q/K
• German: S/L/T/D/K
• Dutch: P/L/T/D/K
• Spanish/Italian: C/A/T/D/R
• French: C/F/T/D/R
• Portuguese: C/B/T/D/R
• Czech/Slovak: J/S/V/D/K

Other notations can be used, but accuracy may be lower due to reliance on a model trained on the above notations.

Game Generation Process:

Score sheets are sent to our servers for processing. Generation time (1-10 seconds) depends on score sheet legibility, game length, and your internet connection.

Game Overview:

The overview shows score sheet columns with generated moves. Move likelihood is indicated by background color. Tap a move to see the position and suggested alternatives.

Move Correction:

Easily correct misrecognized moves using probability-based suggestions, filterable by piece. Regenerate the game after any changes.

Missing or Crossed-Out Moves:

Easily skip or insert moves in the overview and regenerate the game.

Game Data & Metadata:

Add player and tournament details, plus descriptive notes.

Game Management:

Manage your games with an overview, filterable by tournament, round, and favorites. A search function allows filtering by player or description.

Export & Import:

Export filtered or individual games as PGN files (premium feature). Customize the PGN data included (tournament, round, date, etc.). Import games via PGN files.

Game Analysis:

Analyze games directly on Lichess and Chess.com (premium feature).
