ArtClash was crafted to inspire daily practice in drawing, sketching, and cartooning.

This is a work in progress with the first game complete, and more enhancements on the way.

Freely sketch anything you imagine, or select from various topics and optional constraints like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas dimensions. Earn points when others correctly identify your creation!

This solo passion project began as a way for my wife and me to maintain daily artistic practice while encouraging others to do the same.

Current Features:

• Painting - Sketch, Paint, and Blend colors

• Import reference images or paint directly over them

• Select topics and constraints, create your artwork, and earn points for correct guesses

• Six difficulty levels ranging from single words to complex phrases combining up to five different words

• Three optional constraints for bonus points: time limits, color restrictions, or canvas size limitations

• Unlimited free drawing and sharing capabilities

• NSFW filtering option for viewing community content

Known Early Access Issues:

• Basic UI: Current Unity interface limitations will be replaced with responsive XAML implementation

• Performance optimization recommended for larger canvases on lower-end devices. GPU-accelerated brush engine experiences slowdowns with extensive canvas areas. Engine comparisons and performance enhancements in development.

Planned Enhancements:

• Additional drawing games starting with "telephone" style challenges

• Expanded social features including avatar customization, comment systems, and friend networks

• Refined interface and optimized brush performance

• Advanced selection and transformation tools

• Expanded brush library with community sharing capabilities

• Enhanced layer management with transparency locking and masking

• Developer communication portal for feature requests and bug reporting

• Community moderation system for content management

• User-submitted topics and constraints with moderation

• Future expansion to comprehensive image editing, animation, scripting, and storyboard prototyping

While not currently a complete image editing suite due to performance considerations with large textures, ArtClash excels at fostering artistic growth through social engagement and friendly competition.
