"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo, and if you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you're in for a treat. You can now dive back into the intrigue with some of the iconic characters from the 2016 version.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack features the beloved characters Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. What's great about this pack is that it's all about the characters, giving you the flexibility to place any of these suspects into any scenario you desire. Whether you're sticking to classic settings or mixing things up, the choice is yours.

This update lets you relive the nostalgia by choosing your favorite characters from 2016 and even combining them with the newer 2023 cast for a unique gameplay experience. Fans of the 2016 edition have been eagerly requesting the return of these characters, feeling that the newer 2023 characters introduced a bit too much modernity. It's fantastic to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to fan feedback by introducing this pack.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is also rolling out a new game mode: the Retro Rules Set. This mode is a free addition that takes you back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist to the gameplay. The Retro Rules Set reintroduces old-school mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations.

In this mode, tokens begin at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet always taking the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in. Accusations must be made while you're in a room, and the Clue Cards are completely omitted. Additionally, you can't move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to your gameplay.

Don't miss out on these exciting updates! You can explore the game and its new features on the Google Play Store.
