Boost your character's power in Dynasty Warriors: Origins by crafting and upgrading Gems! Gems provide passive buffs, significantly aiding higher difficulty gameplay. This guide details gem crafting, leveling, and Pyroxene acquisition.

Crafting and Leveling Gems

Gem crafting utilizes Pyroxene and occurs at any Inn or tent. Select "Create Gems" (the second option in your room's menu). You can use any number of Pyroxene; each creates one gem. Five unique gems are craftable, with each Pyroxene having a chance to yield any of them.

Crafted gems start at level 1 and equippable via the Battle Preparations menu. Crafting duplicates provides experience (XP) to the base gem, increasing its potency with each level. For broad improvement, use all Pyroxene at once.

For targeted gem acquisition, utilize "Eyes of the Sacred Bird." Crafting a single gem sometimes activates this, limiting subsequent crafts to three randomly selected gems. Cancel this effect by exiting and re-entering the crafting menu. While tedious, crafting individually increases your chances of triggering "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" for your desired gem. Note: "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" reduces randomness but doesn't eliminate it.

Obtaining Pyroxene

Pyroxene appears as orange crystals scattered throughout the overworld. Collecting one makes the crystal disappear. Pyroxene respawns after completing skirmishes or battles, encouraging exploration of previously visited areas. Letters received in your Inn or tent room occasionally reward Pyroxene.
