Defend Your Evil Lair in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, Now Out on Android!

Castle Doombad is back! Available now on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, makes a triumphant return.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light, Unleash the Light, and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they wisely split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic for PC and consoles. Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Villain!

Embrace your inner evil in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay! Build a wicked lair and defend it against heroic do-gooders. Unlike typical tower defense games, your arsenal consists of traps and minions.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Over 30 traps are available to unlock and upgrade, along with more than 100 collectible items.

A new cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts and loot, further enhanced by equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A challenging new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, each granting unique villainous powers. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
