What Are Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O.?

These shiny yellow crystals, found at the Service Station after completing the first level, cost between $7,000 and $9,000. Early in the game, when difficulty is typically lower, they're often cheaper, allowing you to stock up if you had a successful run.

Purchasing an Energy Crystal adds an Energy Container to your R.E.P.O. truck. This container revolutionizes gameplay by enabling you to recharge tools like the Valuables or Extraction Tracker. Simply place them in the container (identified by a yellow lightning bolt next to the bin) to begin recharging, saving money on replacements and enhancing efficiency. You’ll be ready to tackle the next Clown, Gnome, or Shadow Child in no time.

Energy Crystals automatically populate the container upon purchase. However, their lifespan isn't infinite; they deplete with use and eventually break, requiring replacement to maintain the container's functionality.
