Exoloper, the mech combat simulator from the creators of Interloper, launches February 10th. Engage enemy mechs in a battle to liberate your homeworld from the oppressive Commonwealth. A free campaign lets you sample the action before committing to the premium content.
Mobile gaming often lacks robust mech action. Mechwarrior holds a special place in gaming history, but single-player mech simulators on mobile have been scarce—until now.
Exoloper, previously featured last October, puts you directly in the cockpit of your mech. This isn't a top-down strategy game; it's intense, first-person mech combat. If you've longed for a Mechwarrior experience on mobile, Exoloper might be your answer.
Developed by Anchorite Games (creators of the well-regarded space combat simulator Interloper), Exoloper arrives on February 10th. Will it meet the high standards set by its predecessor?
A Verdict on Exoloper
The mech combat genre is undeniably niche. While Mechwarrior dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s, only Mechwarrior 5 and Clans (despite their controversies) have truly followed in its footsteps. Therefore, a spiritual successor appearing on iOS is surprising. While perhaps not as deeply simulated as Mechwarrior, Exoloper still offers impressive immersion.
