Capcom has officially announced the global release schedule for the much-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds. Console players on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X and S can dive into the game starting at midnight on Friday, February 28, according to their local time. PC gamers will have access later in the day. However, for those on Pacific Standard Time (PST), both console and PC versions will be available starting at 9pm on Thursday, February 27.
It's important to note that if you've opted for a physical copy of Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll need to download a 15GB update before you can start playing, as confirmed by Capcom. If you've pre-ordered the digital version, you can download the latest update ahead of time to ensure you're ready to go when the game launches on February 28.
Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest installment in Capcom's highly successful Monster Hunter series. IGN's review of Monster Hunter Wilds awarded it an 8/10, noting that the game "continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge."
