Puzzler 'Superliminal' Breaks the Bounds of Reality on Mobile

Author: Camila Feb 20,2025

Superliminal, the acclaimed indie puzzle game, arrives on mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a surreal, recurring dream.

This first-person puzzle adventure, launching July 30th on the App Store and Google Play, challenges players to solve mind-bending puzzles using forced perspective mechanics. Pre-registration is now open on both platforms.

Initially released on Steam in 2020 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, Superliminal's mobile version will feature controller support. The story begins with a late-night TV ad for Dr. Pierce's dream therapy – a seemingly innocuous advertisement that plunges you into a bizarre, dream-like reality.

Trapped in this recurring dream, you'll navigate a series of increasingly complex puzzles, guided (somewhat) by the voice of Dr. Glenn Pierce and his less-than-helpful AI assistant. Perspective is key; manipulate object sizes, creating platforms and removing obstacles to find your way out. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, demanding clever manipulation of viewing angles for solutions.
