Jagex has unveiled an exciting roadmap for RuneScape in 2024 and 2025, detailing a wealth of new content revealed in their latest "RuneScape Ahead" video. Let's dive into what awaits!
What's Coming to RuneScape?
First up is Group Ironman mode, launching later this year. Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative challenge, tackling RuneScape without external assistance. It's pure, unadulterated teamwork against the game world.
This autumn, prepare to conquer The Gate of Elidinis, a brand-new skilling boss encounter. Ascend the Sanctum of Rebirth to uncover a hidden shrine dedicated to the enigmatic goddess Elidinis, a key element of the upcoming major story quest.
2024 and 2025 will see a significant influx of story quests. Winter brings a thrilling new quest revisiting classic storylines, returning players to the desert for unfinished business with Amascut. This culminates in a battle against Amascut, the Devourer, a challenging new end-game boss fight.
Over 110 skilling updates are planned. This year features a Woodcutting & Fletching update, introducing a new skill tree and unlockable weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.
Get ready for the debut of the Harvest Hollow seasonal event later this year, featuring a new quest, spooky rewards, and creepy activities. The beloved Christmas Village event returns at year's end with fresh quests, festive fun, and holiday rewards.
