Explore Padua's eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites and their celebrated frescoes.
Padova Urbs Picta is the official app for discovering Padua's 14th-century frescoes: take a journey through time to admire masterpieces by Giotto and other fourteenth-century artists that have established the city as a treasure trove of art and culture.
Visit the eight UNESCO World Heritage locations: Giotto's Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of the Eremitani, the Palazzo della Ragione, the Chapel of the Carraresi Palace, the Baptistery of the Cathedral, the Basilica and Monastery of St. Anthony, and the Oratories of St. George and St. Michael.
Each site is presented through ten engaging entries: text is paired with reference images. You can read and/or listen to audio content, including an Autoplay mode. If anything is unclear, use the glossary for assistance.
Monitor your activity completion percentage in the Journal and earn culture points! Collect badges and attempt the Quiz: discover your medieval Beast and unlock a story inspired by Padua’s historic events.
Plan your trip easily! Contact museum receptionists directly through the app and browse their web pages. Locate each place using the interactive Map and enable Google Maps geolocation services.
If you wish to share feedback, reach out via the app. Your thoughts are highly appreciated! Enjoy your visit!
