The Open League is a dynamic football (soccer) management simulation deeply integrated with Discord. Key features include:

**Full 90-minute football / soccer matches are simulated nightly, complete with real-time play-by-play updates streamed directly into our Discord server.

**You manage your football / soccer squad within communities of up to 30 teams divided across three leagues. The top three football / soccer clubs earn promotion, while the bottom three face relegation. Each competitive season spans three weeks.

**During the off-season, football / soccer squads participate in youth camps aimed at discovering future legends. These intensive weekend events allow managers to review scouting reports and bid on promising talent. Many of TOL's most enduring dynasties were built through successful youth camp campaigns.

**Football managers can also arrange friendly matches against rivals. The off-season is frequently utilized to organize competitive tournaments between different teams.

**At the season's conclusion, football managers retain their squads as players develop or decline over time. Strategic squad management plays a crucial role in building a successful team.

**Transfers are negotiated personally with other human football managers via Discord before deals are finalized through the TOL application. Skillful negotiators thrive within the TOL ecosystem.

**TOL utilizes several helpful bots on Discord to assist with team management. For instance, you can direct message your assistant Chris to generate and distribute press releases about your latest victories to all other clubs!

The Open League supports multiple timezones. Matches are currently scheduled for 7:00pm PST, EST, and GMT.
