29 Card Game Plus

Experience the timeless offline card game, 29! (Also known as 28, with slight rule variations.) This South Asian trick-taking game uses Jacks and Nines as the highest cards in each suit.

Played by four players in fixed partnerships (partners opposite each other), 29 utilizes 32 cards from a standard deck. The suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades) rank: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The goal? Win tricks with high-value cards.

Card values:

• Jacks: 3 points each
• Nines: 2 points each
• Aces: 1 point each
• Tens: 1 point each
• Kings, Queens, 8s, 7s: 0 points

The total point value is typically 28, though some variations add a point for the last trick, resulting in 29 (hence the name).

Traditionally, Twos, Threes, Fours, and Fives (removed from the deck) serve as trump indicators, while Sixes are used for scorekeeping.
