In the year 2xxx, Earth was ravaged by a mysterious virus, sparking a bizarre illness scientists dubbed "zombification." This pathogen triggers horrific mutations in humans, transforming them into mindless zombies of varying sizes. These infected beings are driven by an insatiable attraction to noise and the scent of human blood.

You play as a survivor in this desolate, post-apocalyptic world. To protect your cherished home and fellow survivors, you must build and fortify a base with multiple defensive layers. Strategic use of defense towers is crucial to reinforcing your stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At each level's start, you view the play area—an 8x8 grid—and the predetermined monster path. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to craft a new route, forcing monsters to traverse past your defensive towers and be eliminated. The ultimate objective is to defend your home from the relentless monster onslaught.

The home is fixed at a predefined location on the grid in every level. You can position the puzzle pieces anywhere, with one critical rule: you must leave at least one space open in every row of the grid.

Each level consists of six intense waves of monsters. Initially, you select one of two tower cards. Your chosen card then appears alongside your puzzle pieces for placement on the grid before the action begins. After surviving each wave, you can select an additional card from new options, which include two types of tower cards and a powerful stat card. The stat card permanently boosts all your defensive towers, while new tower cards are added to your arsenal.
