This app keeps score for the card game Boerenbridge (also known as Chinese Pooping).
Boerenbridge, or Chinese Pooping, is a card game where players predict their score in each round. Each round starts with a set number of cards dealt to each player. Players take turns bidding, stating how many "strokes" (tricks) they expect to win, beginning with the player to the left of the dealer. The highest bidder chooses the trump suit.
A crucial rule: the dealer's bid cannot make the total strokes equal the number of cards dealt that round. For example, in a seven-card round, if bids are 0, 3, and 2, the dealer cannot bid 2 (0 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 7).
Rounds start with one card per player, increasing by one card each round until a maximum is reached (depending on the number of players; with five players, the maximum is ten cards). After the maximum, the number of cards decreases each round until the final round of one card per player. The player with the most points at the end wins.
