Once you buy additional Energy Crystals, they're automatically slotted into the container, ready for use. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket next to the container, allowing it to regain its health. However, some levels can be particularly demanding, causing your items to wear down quickly. While you can recharge them at your truck with Energy Crystals, you're not always near it during gameplay. The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, can be found at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing a level. Here, you can stock up on essential tools to ease your journey through the next level, provided you have the funds. Keep in mind that items at the Service Station appear randomly, so it might take a few visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it's priced between $4-5K and occupies one inventory slot. After purchasing, assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3.

You'll notice when an item's battery is running low by the battery bar displayed underneath it. To recharge, select the Recharge Drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and attach your depleted item.
