Albion Online Unveils Rogue Frontier: New Smuggler Faction Introduced

Albion Online has unveiled its inaugural major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier. Embracing the theme of living on the edge, this update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and an array of new weapons. Players can now immerse themselves in an underground network of outcasts who operate by their own set of rules.

The Smugglers represent the ultimate rebels and misfits, tired of the Royal Continent's stringent regulations. They've established themselves in the lawless wilds, creating hidden hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as bases where players can stash their loot and engage in various illicit activities. Equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners, these dens are integral to the Smuggler's Network—a new trading system that facilitates the movement of goods across the Outlands, bypassing the Royal Continent's taxes and bureaucratic hassles, albeit at a cost to the Smugglers.

The Smugglers have evolved into a full-fledged Faction, offering missions that allow players to demonstrate their loyalty. Tasks might include tracking down and recovering stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these missions earns players Smuggler's Coins, which can be used to enhance their standing within the faction.

Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action

Beyond the Smuggler-centric features, the Rogue Frontier Update introduces several long-awaited enhancements to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature enables players to track their items' locations across the game world, eliminating the hassle of remembering where rare loot is stored.

For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been added, allowing players to immortalize their most memorable battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, encouraging players to document the diverse beasts that roam the wild.

The update also introduces three new Crystal Weapons tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters. To experience these exciting new additions, players can download Albion Online from the Google Play Store.
