Sony Pictures has thrillingly announced the release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to slash its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was unveiled during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they also revealed the acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's acclaimed work to fans this fall. While US audiences can mark their calendars for a late October viewing, over 80 other countries will get to experience the film earlier on September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the movie's release in Japan, scheduled for September 19, 2025.

The much-anticipated Chainsaw Man movie was first announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The storyline revolves around Denji, a young boy who gains a second chance at life through a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This newfound power allows him to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the pivotal character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the beloved story.
