Essential Strategies for the Primitive Challenge

The Primitive Challenge drastically limits your investigative tools by removing all electronic equipment. No flashlights, no DOTs projectors, no video cameras - just primitive alternatives that challenge even veteran ghost hunters.

Sanity medication is also unavailable, though you begin with full sanity. Your primitive toolkit includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes (preventing two hunt attempts), Tier 2 Firelights, and Tier 1 Incense for protection. For evidence gathering, you only receive two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 UV glowsticks that double as light sources, along with two basic thermometers.

With such limited equipment, locating the ghost quickly becomes critical - especially with no fuse box access leaving you in darkness. Fortunately, the ghost shows heightened activity in this challenge. An alternative approach involves using the provided Ouija Board, though its use drains 50% sanity and risks triggering cursed hunts if mishandled.
