Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.21 Enhances Tech with NVIDIA DLSS 4

CD Projekt RED has once again captured the attention of gamers with a new update for Cyberpunk 2077. This latest release not only brings a series of bug fixes but also introduces cutting-edge NVIDIA technology, enhancing the visual and performance experience for players.

A major highlight of this update is the integration of DLSS 4 support. Owners of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards will benefit from this technology, which allows for the generation of multiple additional frames, starting from January 30th. Moreover, DLSS 4 enhances the performance on both RTX 50 and 40 series cards by accelerating the creation of an extra frame while using less memory.

For all GeForce RTX graphics card users, the update offers the flexibility to choose between the traditional convolution neural network model and the innovative transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model promises improved lighting, enhanced detail, and more stable images, elevating the overall visual quality of the game.

Technical issues have also been addressed in this update. Interference and crashes that occurred on in-game screens when DLSS ray reconstruction was enabled have been resolved. Additionally, the “Frame Creation” parameter now updates correctly after resolution scaling is turned off, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience.

• Fixed a freezing issue that occurred when entering Photo Mode and simultaneously opening a closet or stash.
• Enhanced Photo Mode functionality, allowing players to position Nibbles and Adam Smasher in the frame when Vee is in the air or water.
• Improved the feature that adjusts Adam Smasher's facial expressions, adding more depth to his character.
