NetEase confirms the end of the line for Dead by Daylight Mobile. After four years, this popular mobile adaptation of the hit horror-survival game is officially shutting down. While the PC and console versions remain unaffected, Android users will have a limited time to experience the 4v1 thrill of cat-and-mouse gameplay.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile pits one Killer against four Survivors in a tense game of survival. Players can choose to embody the terrifying Killer, sacrificing Survivors to the Entity, or attempt to evade capture as a Survivor.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's final curtain call is set for March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, ending new downloads. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the official shutdown date. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.
Looking to continue the haunting experience? Transition to the PC or console versions! A special Welcome Package awaits new players making the switch, and existing mobile players will receive loyalty rewards based on in-game spending and progress.
Don't miss your last chance! Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, and experience the chilling gameplay before the servers go dark. For more mobile gaming news, check out our coverage of the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG.
