In Metaphor: ReFantazio, each dungeon presents formidable foes that serve as mini-bosses en route to the ultimate showdown. These challenging enemies appear as red icons on the Fairy Sight map, indicating that they must be tackled using Squad combat, regardless of how much you've grinded for XP.
One particularly tough adversary you'll encounter is the Faithwight Magileto, lurking within the Spire Of Blind Faith. This enemy is notoriously difficult at this stage in the game, demanding a near-flawless strategy and a touch of luck to defeat.
Faithwight Magileto Weakness & Skills In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Weakness | Repel | Resists | Blocks |
---|---|---|---|
Strike | Light | Pierce | Electric |
The Faithwight Magileto is a level 50 enemy capable of summoning additional level 50 foes, making it advisable to be at least level 45 before engaging in combat.
This enemy wields powerful dark and light magic, capable of targeting individual characters or the entire party. Its arsenal includes Megidolaon, a devastating spell that inflicts severe damage across the board. Additionally, Faithwight Magiletos have passive buffs that amplify their dark, light, and electric attacks. They can also deploy Soul Scream to gain four Press Turn icons in a single turn, and summon level 50 skeletons that bolster their ranks.
These summoned minions come equipped with potent slashing attacks and dark magic, along with buffs and one of the game's most effective healing spells, which they can use to restore the Faithwight Magileto to full health. Like their master, these minions are vulnerable to Strike attacks, making this the key to victory.
How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Conquering the Faithwight Magileto is a daunting task even at level 50, and nearly insurmountable at lower levels. Here are some preparatory steps to ease the battle:
- Acquire Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight.
- Obtain Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
- Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
- Utilize the Warlock Archetype, which resists both Dark and Light damage.
- Employ the Thief Archetype, which resists Dark damage.
- Carry Tetrabreak to counter any summoned enemy using Tetrakarn.
Your choice of Archetypes should focus on fulfilling as many of these requirements as possible while avoiding weaknesses to Dark, Light, or Slash. If you have access to multiple Archetypes and can use Skill Inheritance, prioritize Strength-heavy Archetypes. Ensure at least two party members have party-wide healing spells, and equip everyone with a Strike Attack to optimize Press Turn Icons and facilitate health recovery.
Success in this battle hinges on a bit of luck, as consecutive Megidolaons can be nearly impossible to withstand. Equipping most party members with Dark and Light dodge can mitigate damage and potentially end the enemy's turn sooner. If the Faithwight Magileto summons allies, prioritize eliminating them swiftly before they can heal. The Dekaja skill can dispel buffs from summoned enemies, but your primary strategy should be to execute at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells each turn.
