Disney has unveiled exciting new details about Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, set to take place from August 29 - 31 at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort. Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available starting April 14, 2025. The event promises a packed schedule filled with exclusive presentations from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios, along with spectacular entertainment, sneak peeks into all the worlds of Disney, and a variety of unique interactive activations and shopping experiences.
To secure your spot at Destination D23, you must be a D23 Gold Member when tickets go on sale on April 14 at 10am PT/1pm ET. Membership starts at the Gold tier, priced at $49.99/year, which not only grants access to this event but also a range of other perks including access to additional events and exclusive items. General admission tickets for the event are priced at $299, while a limited number of Preferred ($549) and Premiere ($799) tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets come with perks like dedicated queues for reserved seating areas. D23 Gold Members can reserve a ticket for themselves and one guest.
The event will feature over 25 specially curated presentations spanning The Walt Disney Company, and an exclusive D23 Shopping Spree experience. While specific details on the presentations are yet to be announced, shopping enthusiasts can look forward to unique merchandise from The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey's of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Ink & Paint Marketplace.
On August 30, attendees can celebrate 25 years of The Emperor's New Groove at the D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon. The following day, August 31, will feature the Disney '80s-'90s Celebration in Concert, where Broadway and Disney Animation stars will perform for an unforgettable night.
The event will also include The Walt Disney Archives: Charting the Course, Disney Global Stories & Inspirations, showcasing the diverse cultures that have inspired Disney's stories. Highlights include Dwayne Johnson's Jungle Cruise costume, animation maquettes from The Lion King and Mulan, and original puppets from EPCOT's Tapestry of Nations.
For those arriving early in Orlando, there are pre-event activities including D23 Nights at Disney Springs and A Goofy Movie Throwback Premiere on August 28.
