After the tumultuous launch of Pokémon TCG: Journey Together, I was pleasantly surprised by its swift recovery. Amazon now offers the Elite Trainer Box for $70.31 and the Booster Bundle for $37.97, both at MSRP. Just three weeks ago, these items were being scalped as if they were made of gold-foil Charizards. Now, they're readily available and in stock on Amazon. It's a welcome change to experience such tranquility in the Pokémon TCG market.

The drop in single card prices has contributed significantly to this calm. The initial frenzy of panic-buying has subsided, leaving behind a set that's not only visually appealing but also fun to open and now accessible to everyone. This is the most relaxed a Pokémon TCG release has felt since Stellar Crown. It's an excellent time to purchase sealed products, especially if you avoided the chaos of launch week and watched TCGPlayer listings collapse in real-time, like I did.

This Elite Trainer Box is packed with value: nine Journey Together booster packs, a full-art foil N’s Zorua, card sleeves, energy, dice, condition markers, and a code card for Live. It also includes a booklet detailing the cards you're unlikely to pull, which adds a comforting touch. I appreciate this as both a display piece and a slow-opening project. It's like a tiny cardboard advent calendar of hope, where you can open one pack each night.

The ETB exclusive card, N’s Zorua, is decent, but the real chase cards are finally settling at more reasonable prices. Lillie’s Clefairy ex SIR remains pricey at $180, though that's less than half its pre-order peak. N’s Zoroark ex is now around $13, and even the stamped version is cheaper than a movie ticket. If you're considering opening sealed products, now is the time when the value equation doesn't feel like a scam.

This bundle contains six booster packs with no extras. It's perfect for those moments when you just want to open packs and chase something exciting. It's more affordable than the ETB, and you won't be paying extra for sleeves or dividers you might already have in abundance.

The card market for this set has been in free fall, which makes the Booster Bundle an even more compelling purchase now. Salamence ex SIR has dropped from $250 to about $106, and it may settle closer to $100. Iono’s Bellibolt ex, once thought to be a standout, is now around $8. While this is tough news for early buyers, it's great for those joining the party now with a Booster Bundle in hand.

I bought one of these mainly because I had $10 of Amazon credit I'd forgotten about, but it turned out to be a good decision. It's one pack with random blister artwork, containing ten cards that can bring either joy or quiet resignation.

I got this because I'm a fan of quirky acrylic standees and charming Pokémon. It comes with six booster packs, a full-art Bellibolt ex, a foil Tadbulb, and fun extras like a sticker and a display backdrop. While these aren't necessities, they add a delightful touch. Bellibolt’s cards have followed the trend of this set's full arts, plummeting in value. The standard full-art Bellibolt ex is now $7 to $8, and the Special Illustration Rare is around $80. This is still expensive, but a far cry from the early days when it was priced like a rare Iono alt-art. It's a fun choice for fans of the character, and I'm happy to pay for charm when the market has come back to reality.
