Collecting these butterflies will lead you to uncover sinister notes, revealing that the Butterfly Collector is far from a harmless pastime. It's a secretive group of women with a dark agenda: kidnapping children from affluent families to gain power and influence. Your mission is clear: stop them before their plans come to fruition. The faction consists of five members, each waiting to be tracked down.

Dressed in green, she can be found frantically searching at an intersection. Dispatch her with Naoe's blade or Yasuke's brute force, then rescue the child hiding behind nearby horses.

Mucho

From Shucho's location, head northwest across the bridge to reach the Kojo ruins. Here, Mucho, disguised as a family jochu, struggles with her latest victim on the road just south of the ruins. Use the child's resistance to your advantage, engage Mucho in combat, and put an end to her actions. Escort the child back to her mother and continue your hunt.

Richo

Richo, a young woman within the group, masquerades as someone of higher standing, though her speech betrays her true origins. Rumors of a suspicious woman frequenting a bamboo grove lead you to the northern end of Osaka, specifically Noda Village across the water. Inside the grove, you'll find Richo dressed in pink. Confront her and save the kidnapped child from her grasp.

Kacho

After neutralizing the previous three members, you'll face Kacho, the leader of the Butterfly Collector. Her cult-like control over her followers makes her a formidable target. She's located just north of Nishinomaru Garden, west of Osaka Castle, in a restricted zone. Look for the swarm of butterflies to find her. Engage in conversation, then prepare for a deadly confrontation. Kacho's demise will reveal the final piece of the puzzle.

The Gamemaker, who initiated the butterfly collecting quest, awaits your final judgment. Return to her location on the map. As a former victim, she devised the game to help others escape her fate.
