EOS Integration Bolsters Battle Crush

NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which only recently had an early access release in June 2024 following a global test in August 2023, will be shutting down.

Battle Crush Shutdown Date:

The official shutdown date for Battle Crush is November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have ceased, but refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.

Refund requests for Android and Steam players can be submitted between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible thereafter. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord servers will close on January 31st, 2025.

Unexpected Closure?

The sudden closure of Battle Crush is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort. While enjoyable, the game's somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues likely contributed to its premature end. It simply didn't quite achieve the level of polish and refinement needed to succeed.

You can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before the servers go offline. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming coverage of Black Desert Mobile's autumn season featuring story-driven quests.
