The Taipei Game Show 2025 was a resounding success for Etheria: Restart, attracting thousands of eager fans and breaking records set by previous betas. The event was brimming with exclusive content, live competitions, and hands-on previews, providing attendees with a rich array of experiences.
At Etheria: Restart's booth, fans were treated to a plethora of activities, from in-game challenges to captivating cosplayer appearances. Exclusive merchandise giveaways added to the excitement, with attendees having the chance to win limited-edition collectibles. A few fortunate participants even walked away with a PS5 Pro.
On January 24th and 25th, the event was further energized by the presence of popular streamer Akaoni. He engaged the crowd with live battles, challenge events, and fan interactions, leaving attendees with signed photos as cherished mementos.
The closed beta test of Etheria: Restart also set new milestones. Over 900,000 summons were recorded, with characters like Massiah, Tiamat, and Hoyan being the most popular. Remarkably, one Hyperlinker, Tianyu Rin, achieved the unprecedented feat of collecting every single character.
In terms of progression, the average participant reached around level 35, but Lulu surpassed expectations by achieving level 66. The Peak Arena rankings saw 82 competitors, with Fried Bun emerging as the top-ranked Hyperlinker in both PvP modes. Meanwhile, guild Qiyan City set a new benchmark for the highest single-damage output in the event's toughest battle.
The new boss fight against NicoNana was a major highlight, with over 24,000 attempts recorded. This challenging encounter pushed teams to refine their strategies and test their limits.
