February 2025: Top Revenue-Generating Gacha Games

The ongoing informal competition among gacha games continues to intensify. Recent financial data from February 2025 indicates a notable decline in revenue for some of the top titles, including Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. Gacha game enthusiasts are keenly monitoring these financial trends across the genre, with new statistics shedding light on the performance of these games during this period.

miHoYo, also known as HoYoverse, which is behind three major projects, saw all of them experience a dip in revenue during February 2025. Honkai Star Rail, despite securing the fourth position, saw its revenues fall from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, ranking sixth, experienced a significant drop from over $99 million to $26.3 million, following a previous spike attributed to the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero, which ranked eighth, saw its earnings decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to a potential increase in earnings as new character updates are scheduled for release in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.

In February 2025, the leading gacha game was Pokemon TCG Pocket, which generated an impressive $79 million in revenue. Coming in second was Love and Deepspace with $49.5 million, and rounding out the top three was Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle with $47 million.
