In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While your weapons and Thrones might not change frequently, Combat Items are essential consumables with diverse applications, and they're often limited in supply.
You'll receive additional Combat Items as rewards for completing operations, but these might not be enough to fully stock up for your next mission. At the start of the game, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Here's how you can overcome these challenges.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to acquire the appropriate Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section and scroll right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this will allow you to equip up to a total of four Combat Items.
These story-based permits become available quickly, and you can purchase all four by the time you reach CODE level 3. Note that later permits will only appear after you've bought the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of an Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which can be used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress through the main story beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren, a HUB area. On the upper story along the right side, you'll find a store called Zakka. Here, you can not only purchase weapons but also select the "Buy Items" option to access the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.
- Munitions - These are items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies - These include items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can be costly in terms of Entitlement Points. If you need a lot of Medkits, consider donating old resources. While Combat Items can sometimes be obtained as rewards from Operations, this method isn't reliable for farming due to the time required and the risk of using more items than you gain.
