In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden plays a pivotal role early in the main storyline. You'll encounter this area while exploring your Panopticon, and it becomes a crucial spot for farming resources in a safer setting compared to the dangers of field operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to locate each one remains consistent regardless of the level you're on. Let's dive into how you can find any Cell Garden and understand their mechanics for resource farming.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins when Mattias assigns you a mission to investigate a ghost girl tale. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, glance towards the left corner of the block where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, follow the wall to your right until you reach another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. Finally, navigate to the far room of 2-G100, where a similar device awaits to whisk you away to the Cell Garden.
This route to the Cell Garden remains constant across all levels. Utilizing the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the travel time to reach it. Once you've completed the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you gain the freedom to visit any Cell Garden at your convenience. However, securing a specific Entitlement first is advisable for an enhanced experience.
Each device leading to the subsequent room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making navigation straightforward.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden operates differently during the main story mission compared to regular visits. Here's how it functions outside of the mission:
- You're allotted one minute before being automatically ejected.
- The room's layout changes with each visit, adding an element of unpredictability.
- Scattered around the room, you'll find eight resources, represented by small green orbs, ready for collection.
To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are essential, especially when dealing with layouts that incorporate more complex puzzles. The first upgrade extends your stay to two minutes and becomes available once you reach CODE level 3.
