The latest beta build for Version 5.4 has brought exciting updates to the Event Banners for the upcoming patch in Genshin Impact, revealing more information on which 4-Star characters will join Mizuki, Wriothesley, Sigewinne, and Furina. As Version 5.3 concludes the Archon Quest in Natlan, Version 5.4 will take players back to the enchanting region of Inazuma. Although it won't feature a new map expansion, the Flagship Event will revolve around the yokai of Inazuma, prominently featuring Yae Miko and Ei.
Arguably, the star of Version 5.4 is Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst from Inazuma. Expected to be a Standard Banner character, her Signature Weapon is bound to draw significant interest. Mizuki can be likened to Sucrose with the added ability to heal, though her rotation has been critiqued for being too passive. Nevertheless, she has received consistent buffs throughout the beta testing phase.
Thanks to HomDCCat's datamining efforts, Genshin Impact players now have a glimpse of the majority of 4-Star characters set to appear on the Event Banners in Version 5.4. In the first half, Wriothesley and Mizuki are expected to feature, while the second half will be headlined by Sigewinne and Furina. The 4-Star characters for Version 5.4 include Mika, Gorou, Sayu, and Chongyun. There is a rumor of an Inazuma Chronicled Banner for the upcoming patch, but confirmation or debunking likely won't occur until the developer's livestream.
Genshin Impact: Banner Characters in Version 5.4
Mizuki – 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Wriothesley – 5-Star Cryo Catalyst
Sigewinne – 5-Star Hydro Bow
Furina – 5-Star Hydro Sword
Mika – 4-Star Cryo Polearm
Gorou – 4-Star Geo Bow
Sayu – 4-Star Anemo Claymore
Chongyun – 4-Star Cryo Claymore
It should be noted that the order of the 4-Star characters is not specified. If an Inazuma Chronicled Banner is indeed featured, Gorou and Sayu would likely appear in the phase not occupied by the Chronicled Banner. Given the pattern of past versions, both options are plausible. Among the lineup, Mika stands out as particularly valuable, synergizing well with both Furina and Wriothesley.
Speculating on the final two spots on the Event Banners for Version 5.4, many players hope to see Charlotte return. Absent since her debut in Version 4.2 and having skipped Furina's rerun in Version 4.7, her comeback is highly anticipated. Noelle, who synergizes well with both Furina and Gorou, is also likely to appear in the second half. While there are stronger 4-Star characters available, this setup provides Sayu, Mika, and Gorou with a much-needed rerun on the Event Banners.
