If you're a *Genshin Impact* player on Android, you're in for a treat. The long-awaited controller support is finally making its way to your device with the upcoming Version 5.5 update. It's been a while since iOS users enjoyed this feature back in 2021, but the wait is over for Android players.
When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?
Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, because that's when you'll be able to dive into the world of Teyvat using your favorite controller. The update will support four popular controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Just make sure your controller has Bluetooth capabilities, and you're good to go.
But that's not all Version 5.5 has in store. You'll also enjoy other quality-of-life enhancements, such as cross-scene quest tracking. This means you can seamlessly follow your quests across different areas by simply opening the map and teleporting to your desired location.
Newer players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will provide a better understanding of enemy mechanics. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. You can catch all the details during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
