Genshin Impact Update 5.5: New Volcano Area Unveiled

As the UK briefly basked in warmth before plunging back into near-freezing temperatures, and with Spring seemingly reluctant to bloom in many other places, Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update might just be the fiery escape you need. Scheduled for release on March 26th, the "Day of the Flame's Return" promises to heat things up significantly.

The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the introduction of the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan, home to the newly accessible Sacred City of Tollan. This ancient Dragonborn-built marvel invites players to delve into its depths and unravel the mysteries of the Flamelord's Blessing. But the update doesn't stop at just volcanoes and lava; it also introduces the final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, alongside a formidable new Saurian, Tatankasaurus, capable of shattering enormous rocks with its sheer power and size.

The 5.5 update introduces two new characters to assist you: Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user who unleashes devastating Electro damage, and Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, capable of boosting attack damage while healing her allies.

In addition to these fiery additions, players can look forward to a new seasonal event, the Tournament of Glory in Bloom, along with Event Wishes and more, all set to debut on March 26th.
