For a franchise renowned for its irreverence and humor, Goat Simulator's recent Goat Direct showcase took a surprisingly serious turn, featuring fewer practical jokes than fans might have anticipated. Instead, the event focused on a range of new merchandise, including plushies and a CRKD controller line, alongside teasing an upcoming card game.

The highlight for many, however, was the announcement that the Goat Simulator 3 expansion pack, Multiverse of Nonsense, is set to arrive on mobile devices soon. While a specific release date remains under wraps, more details are expected to be released shortly. In Multiverse of Nonsense, players will guide their goat through a parallel universe, encountering bizarre locales such as a cartoon-themed town, a city populated by goats, and a mythical mountaintop.

But wait, there's more—Coffee Stain North also unveiled a free update for Goat Simulator 3 in celebration of April Fool's Day. This 10th-anniversary update introduces 27 new pieces of gear, two new events in San Angora, and a unique goat skin inspired by the upcoming Pilgor plushie, slated for release later this year.

It's somewhat fitting that Goat Direct opted for a more straightforward approach. Given the series' track record of outlandish features, adding fake announcements might have frustrated fans eager for real updates and new content.
