While we wait, let's reminisce about the Rockstar games we've enjoyed over the years and rank them for fun!

Rockstar has crafted over 30 games since its inception in 1998, bringing us iconic series like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Manhunt. But which game stands out as the best? Note that you won't find titles like LA Noire or Max Payne 2 on this list, as we're focusing solely on games developed by Rockstar, not just those they've published. I've ranked them using an IGN Tier List, based purely on my personal enjoyment over the years. Check out my tier list below:

Red Dead Redemption 2 is hands down my favorite game of all time, making it an easy S-tier choice. It's joined by its predecessor and GTA 5, both of which revolutionized the cinematic open-world genre. I also have a soft spot for Max Payne 3's bullet time ballet and GTA San Andreas, which I played at an age far too young. At the bottom in the D-tier, you'll find games like Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! and Welcome to My Underground Lair! – titles that nobody really wants to play.
