GTA 6 Second Trailer Released
Meet Jason and Lucia
Rockstar Games has finally unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI's second trailer after announcing a delay to its 2025 release window. The May 6th reveal gave players their most detailed look yet at the reimagined Vice City and its diverse population.
The trailer introduced the game's dual protagonists - Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. According to official lore, these two down-on-their-luck criminals find themselves entangled in a sprawling criminal conspiracy across Leonida state after a botched heist.

The game's official synopsis describes their predicament: "Jason and Lucia have always known the system was rigged against them. When a simple job goes sideways, they're thrust into the dark underbelly of America's sunniest paradise, forced to trust only each other to survive a criminal web spanning Leonida."

Jason, an Army veteran seeking to outrun his past, now works for drug runners in the Leonida Keys. His fateful meeting with Lucia could be his redemption - or his downfall. Meanwhile, Lucia grew up fighting from childhood and did prison time before vowing to turn her life around for her Liberty City-born mother.
Vice City's Eclectic Inhabitants

The trailer introduced several key supporting characters including conspiracy-obsessed Cal Hampton, crime-lord-turned-businessman Boobie Ike, and veteran bank robber Raul Bautista. The game promises to explore Vice City's criminal underworld and music industry through these and other colorful personalities.

Exploring Vice City and Beyond

The reimagined Vice City offers multiple distinct areas including the tropical Leonida Keys, sprawling Grassrivers wetlands, and industrial Port Gellhorn. Rockstar has shared new screenshots showcasing the game's stunning visuals and environmental detail.

Despite the delay to 2026, these reveals have only increased anticipation for what may become the most ambitious Grand Theft Auto yet. The game launches May 26, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
