Getting Your Horse Back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If you're eager to reunite with your trusty steed, Pebbles, from the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you're in luck. You can retrieve her by heading to Semine in the southern part of the map. Once there, locate the horse trader NPC who holds the key to Pebbles' return.

However, reclaiming Pebbles won't be a straightforward transaction. The horse trader will demand payment in Groschen or challenge you to persuade or intimidate him into handing over your horse. In my journey, I followed the main questline and collaborated with Radovan the blacksmith, which enabled me to acquire new attire for Henry, presenting him as nobility. This disguise allowed me to successfully negotiate with the trader, securing Pebbles without cost, albeit at a slight expense to my reputation in Semine.

Should your persuasion efforts fall short, be prepared to pay the Groschen to reclaim your beloved horse.

How to Steal a Horse

For those inclined towards a more daring approach, stealing a horse is another route to consider. While wild horses are a rarity in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you're more likely to encounter them on farms or in stables. One such spot is the farmhouse near Vidlak Pond in the west, owned by fishermen. Here, you'll find two horses ripe for the taking. Simply mount one and ride off into the sunset.

To fully harness your newly acquired horse, make your way to the Nomads' Camp just east of Vidlak Pond. Engage with the horse trainer NPC who can teach you the art of saddling and taming your stolen steed. Remember, though, that you'll need to compensate the trainer for his expertise.

Alternatively, if you're feeling bold, you can bypass the trainer and ride your horse freely, embracing the thrill of the open road.

With these options at your disposal, you're now equipped to enhance your Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 experience with the companionship of a horse. For further tips and insights on the game, be sure to explore resources on The Escapist.
