Hades 2 to Launch Exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Hades 2 is set to launch on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date hasn't been announced, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-awaited sequel will be available on PC, as well as both the original and the new Switch models, simultaneously later this year.

The news about Hades 2 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 was first revealed during last week's Nintendo Direct. However, Supergiant Games has since clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch versions but will also enjoy a period of timed exclusivity on Nintendo's consoles.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced on X/Twitter.

It remains uncertain when Hades 2 will become available on other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
