"Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" enthusiasts will be delighted with the inclusion of new figures in this latest wave of Star Wars collectibles. Nightsister Merrin is set to receive a new figure, while the game's protagonist, Cal Kestis, is featured in a three-pack set alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure comes with multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache, which was a key focus for this release.

"We wanted to have fun with it," Houle explained to IGN. "This three-pack is one of my favorites from the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and mullet, then added a clean-cut look and later a short beard. The handlebar mustache became the primary look because it's just so much fun."

Merrin's figure was a natural choice to accompany Cal, given her pivotal role in the "Fallen Order/Survivor" saga. The challenge lay in accurately capturing her unique Force abilities.

"You can't have Cal without Merrin," Reiff noted. "We're excited to finally bring Merrin to life, and capturing that green Force blast effect, along with the intricate details of her new costume and face tattoos using inkjet technology, was crucial. We wanted to do justice to her character and the fans' investment in her story."

This year's lineup also features updates to two fan-favorite characters, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous iterations of these figures over the years, Houle believes there's always room for enhancement.

"It's been a while since we last updated them," Houle said. "We've given them new tools, ensuring they're equipped with the latest articulation for fans to enjoy. We've also made significant updates beyond just the articulation. Our experience with Wookiee figures, particularly their long hair, informed our approach. We used softer plastics for Chewbacca, allowing for seamless head movement. For Han, we enhanced articulation at the top of the boot instead of the thigh to maintain the integrity of his costume's design."

Among the new figures, The Ronin from the "Star Wars: Visions" anime anthology stands out. This Celebration-exclusive figure is crafted in black and white, with the only color being his iconic red katana lightsaber. Both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the details right for this unique release.

"We stayed true to the original design," Houle shared. "We drew inspiration from Japanese culture for the packaging, making it premium with magnetic closures, a clean aesthetic, and hidden accessories. The attention to detail extended from packaging to design and engineering."

Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for the exclusive packaging, something we don't usually do. Given that we were in Japan for the event, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special package just for this release."

Hasbro also unveiled a stunningly detailed Death Trooper helmet for their 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line during the Celebration panel.

"This is a completely new tooled helmet for our Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff said. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie, with weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. We worked closely with Lucasfilm to ensure we captured every detail from the original files, adding our own touches to the interior for a more immersive experience."
