Nightmare Echoes are alternative variants of 4-cost (Overlord-class) Echoes. This passive elemental damage bonus allows them to replace a 3-cost Echo, enabling a powerful 441111 Echo composition. Importantly, they retain the Sonata/Set effects of their regular counterparts, minimizing build adjustments.

How to Unlock Nightmare Echoes

Unlocking Nightmare Echoes requires completing the "Dream Patrol I" quest in Rinascita. This tutorial quest is initiated by interacting with the White Cat in Ragunna City after finishing Act 2 Chapter 3 of the Rinascita main storyline.
