During the Bank of America’s 2024 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference, CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels highlighted the sequel's importance, stating (per Variety):

"Developing a successor to Hogwarts Legacy is a top priority for us in the coming years. This game will significantly contribute to our future growth in the games sector."

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Games' David Haddad emphasized the game's remarkable replayability as a key factor in its success. In an interview with Variety, Haddad noted the high number of players who have revisited the game multiple times.
