Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th! This update introduces Durandal's exciting new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, along with fresh suits, events, and story content.

Reign Solaris: A Dual-Form Powerhouse

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode transforms her into a hoverboard-riding whirlwind, delivering rapid-fire combos. Her ultimate sees her soaring into the air for a powerful, area-of-effect attack.

New Gear and Stigma Set

Reign Solaris's power is amplified with the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These weapons unlock enhanced QTEs and provide additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, showcases Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring unexpected themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Main Story Expansion and New Events

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Ten Shus War storyline on Mars. Unravel more of Coralie's tragic past and encounter a character connected to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, offers rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.

The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event brings comedic chaos with returning characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, alongside Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging drumsticks and rhythmic counterattacks, commanding followers, and even monster training! Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
