Six Invitational 2025 Format
The format for Six Invitational 2025 remains unchanged from 2024, but for those new to the event, here's a quick rundown. The tournament unfolds in two phases: the group stage and a double-elimination playoff.
During the group stage, all teams are divided into four groups, competing in a round-robin format. Each match is crucial, not just for survival, but also for securing a better seeding in the playoffs.
The top four teams from each group enjoy a significant advantage by starting in the upper bracket of the playoffs and skipping the first round, ensuring at least a 9th-12th place finish. Teams finishing second and third also advance to the upper bracket, but they start in the first round, with the benefit of one loss before elimination. Fourth-placed teams enter the playoffs in the lower bracket, where every match is a must-win scenario. Unfortunately, teams in fifth place are eliminated.
