The set reflects this history with a jazz lounge, dining room, and functional areas like the boiler engine room, connected to the paddle wheel, and a pilothouse with a working steering wheel and rudder.

The build process is thoughtfully divided into 32 bags, starting with the ship's base, which includes the boiler room and a miniature nautical museum. The museum features a piston engine, an aeolipile, and a Watt steam engine, showcasing LEGO's ability to create detailed and functional models. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and basin sink, demonstrating the set's attention to detail.

One level up, the main deck houses the dining room and jazz lounge. The lounge, situated above the stern, is adorned with LEGO accessories for drums, saxophone, microphone, and an upright bass.
