Author: Joseph Apr 20,2025

The official trailer for the live-action remake of *Lilo & Stitch* has been released, providing fans with their best look yet at the beloved characters. Maia Kealoha stars as Lilo, taking on the role originally voiced by Daveigh Chase in the 2002 animated classic. The trailer highlights Kealoha's portrayal, giving audiences a glimpse into how she brings this iconic character to life in a new way.

In addition to Lilo, the trailer showcases Courtney B. Vance as the serious yet lovable Cobra Bubbles, and Billy Magnussen as the quirky Pleakley. Fans will also see Zach Galifianakis as Jumba. An intriguing element of the trailer is the brief disguises of Jumba and Pleakley as their human actors on Earth, though Pleakley's alien form makes a quick appearance as well.

The trailer brings to life many iconic scenes from the original, including Stitch's dramatic entrance resembling a falling star, his attempt to blend in at the shelter as a dog, and the heartfelt moment when Lilo utters the memorable line, "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."

*Lilo & Stitch* is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2025, adding to Disney's lineup of live-action remakes. It follows closely on the heels of another anticipated remake, *Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs*, which will premiere on March 21, 2025.
