The latest season of Marvel Snap has arrived, and it's all about celebrating legacy. Sam Wilson steps into the spotlight as the new Captain America, bringing with him fresh mechanics that will shift the dynamics of your matches. Alongside him, characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross introduce new layers of strategy, ensuring an exciting month ahead.
Sam Wilson's debut in Marvel Snap comes with a Season Pass that reflects his journey from Falcon to Captain America. His card ability introduces Cap's Shield at the start of each match, placing it at a random location. This Shield can be moved across the board and, while indestructible, boosts Sam's power by +2 whenever it lands in his location.
Throughout February, the roster expands with new characters. Joaquín Torres joins on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing arrives on the 18th, and Diamondback wraps up the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will rotate through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple ways to unlock them.
Two new locations are also being introduced to Marvel Snap. The Smithsonian Museum enhances Ongoing abilities with an additional +1 Power per card, while Madripoor increases the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. These locations encourage different deck builds, prompting you to adapt your strategies to this season's unique landscape.
For collectors, February brings new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, dropping on February 4th, features rewards such as a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. Later, on February 25th, the Lemon Fashion album will arrive with exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
