Monopoly Unveils Valentine's Day Update with New Rules, Quiz

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro are rolling out a special update for Monopoly on Android and iOS. Dive into the spirit of love with an array of limited-time content that adds a romantic twist to your favorite digital board game.

Monopoly's Valentine's Day celebration introduces an exciting quiz that matches you with one of four unique Monopoly tokens, each symbolizing different expressions of love. Once matched, you can enjoy a 24-hour free trial with your new token. If you decide to keep it, the token will be available at a special discounted price.

Adding to the festivities, a House Rules event revamps the classic gameplay for a faster and more thrilling experience. With the Quick Hotels rule, you can now build hotels after only three houses instead of four. The Quick End rule brings the game to a close after the first player goes bankrupt, ensuring a brisk game session. The Quick Jail rule allows you to leave jail on your first turn, while the Starting Title Deeds rule gifts each player three random properties right at the start. Plus, you'll skip over tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces, speeding up the pace of the game.

To sweeten the deal, a new set of Cupid-inspired tokens will be available, and the Sweethearts bundle features two adorable cherubs ready to join the board this Valentine's Day.
