Mother Nature: EcoDash: A Fun, Engaging Endless Runner Fighting Pollution
Dive into Mother Nature: EcoDash, a new endless runner game for Android with a powerful message. Developed by BOM (Birmingham Open Media), a UK-based immersive arts organization, this game tackles the urgent issue of pollution in a unique and engaging way.
The game's development is a remarkable collaboration between BOM and a group of talented girls aged 11-18 from Powered by CAN, a youth project. Their contributions shaped every aspect of the game, from its vibrant art style to its intuitive mechanics.
What Makes EcoDash Unique?
Players take on the role of Mother Nature, a Black female scientist on a mission to cleanse the city and rescue endangered animals from the clutches of Smog, a villain determined to spread pollution. The gameplay involves classic endless runner mechanics – running, jumping, and dodging obstacles – with an added layer of rescue missions. As you race through the polluted city, you'll encounter animals in need, collecting air purifiers along the way to keep the smog meter low and avoid being consumed by toxic clouds. Successfully reaching the rainforest allows you to return the rescued animals to their natural habitat.
BOM's vision was to create a fun and accessible way for people to understand the impact of climate change and air pollution. The game is packed with power-ups, shields, and bonus items to aid players in their mission.
Mother Nature: EcoDash is a simple yet impactful game with a strong environmental message. Download it from the Google Play Store today!
