As reported by Nintendo Life, journalist Felipe Lima discovered a listing for a Take-Two Interactive Nintendo Switch 2 game on the French retailer Fnac, which included the game case dimensions. If accurate, these details suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2 game boxes will be slightly larger than those of the original Switch.

This speculation was visually demonstrated in a Reddit post by user HertzBurst, who compared the two box sizes side by side. According to the listing, the new game cases measure approximately 5.1 inches by 7.7 inches (13 centimeters by 19.5 centimeters). While these dimensions indicate a size increase over the current Switch game cases, they remain smaller than those used for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 games.
